I'm not even sure why Bracewell was put on the plane in the first place.
I'll always support his selection. He is a fantastically talented cricketer who was on the cusp of multiple chances over the years. I'm really happy to see him get his chance.

So I guess something like...
- Latham (c)
- Young
- Conway
- Nicholls (if fit, otherwise Rutherford is in the mix, and he might swap with Young?)
- Bracewell
- Mitchell
- Blundell
- Jamieson
- Wagner
- Southee
- Boult
... perhaps. (And yes, I know 9 & 10 won't bat in that order )
And despite it being TSF heresy with the we loves Wag's crew, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they go with Henry instead. I wonder if they might based on his county form over the years, plus he's one of the technically better lower batsmen around. Patel drops out from being underbowled anyway, plus with Bracewell in the mix.
I suppose Ravindra is another option, he certainly has the talent, but he has yet to take his chances.

He didn't put his case forward against the might of the Netherlands in my mind.

Trent Bridge is now a Spin friendly ground.Since Aswin joined Notts it has been a spin bowlers dream the last couple of seasons.
Wags doesn't care what the conditions are. In fact he relishes it when they are less than helpful. I can't believe they still make the mistake of not playing him

Missed out in the big games. But in the two warm up games he hit 208 across two games, striking at over 110 without being dismissed.

Missed out is a very nice way of saying failed. Three times.

If they pick Bracewell then they are covered anyway personally I would pick Wagner instead of Patel. And select Bracewell in Kanes spot.

I hope the batting order reported on cricinfo is incorrect, makes no sense:
New Zealand 1 Tom Latham (capt), 2 Will Young, 3 Devon Conway, 4 Henry Nicholls, 5 Daryl Mitchell, 6 Tom Blundell (wk), 7 Michael Bracewell, 8 Kyle Jamieson, 9 Tim Southee, 10 Matt Henry, 11 Trent Boult.
