The entire round robin is figuring out which established teams joined the 2 expansion teams in missing the playoffs
I would correct that to:
The entire round robin is figuring out the order of all the established teams, with all 4 expansion teams getting some experience, but not invited to playoffs
now I feel dumb.
Moana Pacifica and Drua were expansion. (edit: and the ones I was thinking about)
Force were kinda expansion, but existed before the end of last year.
Who's the fourth?I still consider Moana Macifica, Drua, Force, Rebels - all expansion teams.
Sure - some of them were an earlier expansion - but it's a pretty clearly defined line between "OG teams" and "expansion teams" when it comes to the playoff line.By that argument, the Brumbies are an expansion team
They were an original Super 12 team so wouldn't be considered expansion?
They were created for the super 12. Expansion baby

Very interesting article, I'll put it here as it applies to the shite ruck work being done in SR. I wish I could remember where, it could have been squidge, but he had the stats of ruck time in 6N - it was an amazing jump (well drop). From under 3 secs being the gold standard, to well under 2. Forwards setting themselves up for lightning quick cleans well before the tackle, France and Irealnd do it so well.

@Chris the canes can't lose to Jeremy Thrush's force!! If they do that means it's do or die for Martin Banks and the landers Sunday
I did say a sniff not a strong chance you boys will be fine,Big game big win from the Landers I reckon this Sunday.

Veteran trio call time on careers
With over 400 games of Super Rugby experience to their names, the Western Force can confirm that storied veterans Jeremy Thrush, Richard Kahui, and Greg Holmes will be retiring at the end of the season.
-
So three out of the four quarter finals now confirmed.
Crusaders vs Reds
Chiefs vs Waratahs
Brumbies vs Hurricanes
Blues wonβt know who they play until atleast after the next game.

@Canes4life Canes in Canberra always makes for an unpredictable game!π
-
@FakatavaFuture our season ended last year in Canberra when Jordie missed a last minute penalty, hope he can win it this time. π I just know the Canes hate playing there, especially when itβs freezing which Iβm sure it will be.

Should be used to shit weather being based in Wellington.
-
@Canes4life Yep, it's not as bad as people from outside the region make it out to be. In Summer, I actually prefer Wellington's climate over that of the North with its horrible humidity. I hate sweaty weather.
Edit: Nothing beats the weather in the Bay though.
