What's the score? Are the Warriors getting monstered in the pack without the hard man (tee hee hee) Lodge there?

NZ comms team say we are playing with better energy. Warriors up 14-12 at the half

Already seeing the benefit of having the Hawkes Bay boy back. ๐Ÿ˜‰ (This comment will spectacularly backfire on me considering - the Warriors).

Warriors score another nice unconverted team try. Only leading 6 they let the Dragons in to score under the sticks. All tied up

This is pretty out of left field. Good on him for taking action to try other things out. Plenty of time if he realises it was a mistake and comes back.

Good on him for not doing it like a dropkick like that, um, dropkick Lodge.

Also, the Warriors are breaking players at 23. Just burn it to the ground and start from scratch.

I don't think you're too far off the QLD squad, assuming fitness. D. Fafita likely late inclusion this week for Titans so should be fit.

For NSW I can see a few changes like Cam Murray and Angus Crichton as walk ins if fit. Matterson unlikely to make it. Trbojevic likely bench.

Doubts on Haas's shoulder playing with pain now, but if fit a certain starter. I don't think there is a lot of depth in NSW props. I think Jake T played prop last year

Centre is interesting I suspect you're right , but not locked in but certainly, they may include Wighton at centre due to his experience, the last two centres were not actual centres either

but apart from that, I think you're close

@mariner4life yeah agree, I doubt they bring back Klemmer even though I would be thinking about it, he is has been playing 60 minutes of late and about the only consistently good thing in Newcastle

you know, looking at those squads, i am significantly more bullish about Qld than i was 12 months ago

12 months ago was peak "6-again massive scoreline madness" and the NSW team was packed full of guys who could really really hurt you. Tommy Turbo was the best player in the comp, Latrell was tearing shit up, Tedesco was sniffing around the ruck and tearing teams open. All the NSW hooker and halves had to do was give them the seed.

This year? The game is a bit tighter again. Tommy Turbo and Latrell are gone. Tedesco is woefully out of form (to the point he actually hinders the Roosters' attack). As good as Staggs and Crichton are, they are a huge step down from where those two were.

Yes Penrith are far and away the best side, and their two most important players are in NSW. But i expect this to be a much closer affair.

yeah this is seriously Farked ..i dont often buy into the NSW league journo BS, but I agree with them, there is more to this story and it doesn't look good for the club, it is incredibly poor management and it stays on our books for 18 more months... farked I say
