    Pathetic defence.

Brumbies much better fitness than three NZ teams now.

Not scoring just before half time proving costly..

Just in that play: 18 dropped the ball under no pressure, had no one in any position to gather the kick, won a turnover and then failed to get support there and lost is back.

Great tackle, but Brumbies are playing at a different level now.

@Toddy Cane has been poor tonight, hasn't even put pressure on over the ball. Papalii is knocking.

Dalton is streaks ahead so far this year. Easily the form 7. The difference between the two that we aren't privvy to is if Cane is pacing himself for later in the season. The other problem for Cane is that Dalton is also leader (maybe already better than Cane) and Cane has never cemented himself as a good captain at Super or AB level.

The Brumbies have been as good as the Chiefs have been bad.

Chiefs not treasuring the ball, inept defensive choices and some dreadful skill execution. They deserve to lose.

@Toddy The big thing is that Papalii is obviously a superior athlete. Much bigger and stronger.

Cane has looked 5 - 10% off since his torn pectoral. I guess the injuries start to weigh up on loosies over time.

He's a good player but was average today. Too much mucking around at the back of the ruck, IMO.

Brumbies much fitter and stronger in the forwards.

    Pretty comfortable in the end.

Brumbies playing a very good brand of footy...
I guess the missed the memo about aimless kicking.

Brumbies are a really well drilled team. They frustrated the Chiefs who started making stupid mistakes. Great to see the Aussie teams coming back into some form. Will go along way to making Super rugby enjoyable again.

That’s one of the most convincing 10 point wins you’ll see.

Good to watch the Brumbies tactic of high kicks to Gatland and Trask and then to flatten them and try to win the ruck ball. They really did have an excellent kicking game tonight.

Chiefs problems were all at 15 and 10 in my view. Brumbies kicking game vastly superior and Chiefs kick reception skills poor. Thought Ratima and Tupaea had their best games this season amongst it. Narawa looked threatening too.
Tough week for Sam Cane. Congrats on the birth mate. Some things are more important than rugby.

I was just going to post this after returning from the game. It was very noticeable how high (like really high) and accurate White's box kicks were so that the Brumbies could compete. His kickoffs were also effective. In comparison, Gatland and Trask's kicking was woeful. Gatland had one of those games while everything I have said about Trask as a fullback was evident in this game.

The Brumbies certainly push the offside line but it seemed that the ARs were only looking at the Chiefs.

In the end, the Brumbies were too efficient and too good. The Chiefs certainly didn't help themselves with numerous mistakes whenever they got close on the scoreboard.
