But you saw Havili being asked to ht up at 12 last year, OK v Oz, not so much SA/FR/Ire etc.
I’llreiterate Jordie for 12

I'm starting to think that that Rugbypass article was written with the knowledge/expectation of Jordie playing at 12 for the Canes, this week, so they can publish another article with the "we told you so, this is the solution" as a follow-up article, to "prove" how good they are in their analysis. Cynical thought? Maybe. But some of them are not just lurking here; I think some of them are posting here, too. Too many similarities between posts and articles.

I'd expect them to be lurking here sometimes. Sure there's some dumb posts occasionally but the quality of feedback is exponentially better than twitter, reddit, article comments, talkback radio etc
Plus borrowing an idea or two saves them some work

@machpants No, not a conspiracy theory, if that's what you mean with your gif. Just reading posts and then seeing very similar articles, sometimes using the same wording. Unless they "copy, paste" from the Fern, of course.
Just joshing, Mrs Vyvyan

That they're stealing my complaints and turning them into articles is not evidence I'm a "sports journalist".
I'd have faith any of them had a clue if they wrote something insightful before I read it here.

Blues prop Nepo Laulala has been suspended for three weeks after his red card for a dangerous cleanout in their win over Moana Pasifika on Tuesday.
As expected.

This wasn’t a head clash, or someone dipping in the tackle. He lined up a player in a ruck, with his shoulder and his arm tucked back like he was Owen Farrell. There is no mitigation, he has previous (re and yellow last few years), and don’t give me the shit of getting time of for remorse/not picking nose during the hearing/etc. That was a grub shot, not poor technique or highly dynamic situation, and deserves the full sanction IMO

My interest in super rugby has flagged fast. Too repetitive. There is only so many times I can watch the same teams face each other.
-
@billy-tell my interest is still there, but the format sucks...hopefully with life returning to some form of normalcy we should also see a better draw.
As much of a blues fan as anyone could be, and a fan of the introduction of MP someone might be, seeing these teams play twice in a week that isn't a finals series...

See, I don't get that. Does the same apply to test series? Nope. The interest is in the changes between matches the counter tactics. Maybe a team has upped their game since the last match and is ready to make amends.

How often do Ireland do a test series in nz? How often do NZ super rugby sides meet? Just not comparable imo.
