God the warriors are a tough watch. Did everything to lose a game to an absolute dogshit side in the Tigers

Is there a single player on the roster you would play money to watch?

That’s the worst game of rugby league I’ve seen for a long time. Neither time looked like they wanted to or had the ability to win. Glad the clock finally made 80

Warriors probably have the worst set of wingers and centres in the comp. If there was no Walsh, the backline would have zero linebreaking ability.

How bad was that guy with number 4 on his back?

I don’t know his name (don’t want to), and I’m not going to call him a centre because that would be an insult to players that actually know how to play centre. Useless.

I thought we got stitched up on a couple of calls, but par for course stuff when we play, but given the game was there for the taking, I just knew we would be disappointed, again.

I won't say his name then, but I'll tell you his dad's name instead and it's Marty Berry. He was easily the worst on the field. He's not the most experienced league player, but no excuse being that poor.

Nice to see him rewarded with another start this week - his first touch driven back 5-10m in the tackle. Second touch loses the ball. I won’t say his name….

Only positive last night (other than winning) was we did ok whilst we had a player in the bin. Sure it was the Tigers, but I had very low expectations when we were down to 12.

I couldn’t stop laughing after the kick off to start the game, in our very first set we had someone diving for a shocking pass.

As bad as we have been, we really should be 2-1

We had thr chance to ice the game, Tigers were shot, big holes to run in to on the right with numbers,

And the ball ends up in Matt Lodge's hands and he threw it in to the ground for a turnover.

    We're diabolical.

Although for me Matt Lodge was one of the better players over all on the night which says something. Yes he made three errors , but second highest on tackle count and led hit ups.

The errors from our play makers were more telling, Im looking at you Kodi, CHT and Egan. Or bad decisions on field, like Egan charging for the line near the end, when Walsh screaming to get the ball because he was marking Uto who couldnt stand.

Or lastly CHT thinking he was clever trying to milk a penalty only for the TV ref deciding he needed to come off for that HIA assessment, which obviously he was going to pass......duuuumb

We won, but geez it was horrible. I agree with @ACT-Crusader I was certain with 12 we were toast, but creditto them for holding strong in that period

I was only half watching this as I was watching another game with NZers actually playing 😉 but Egan, errors notwithstanding, appears to be running more, and running more effectively this year? Maybe my constant bagging of him is paying off. Finally success, I could never turn Kata into a competent centre with many years of effort.

Egan overall has looked much more effective this year and especially in his running game, if it was from all of our bagging then there is hope for the rest of the team ha ha.

He made a bad call in that instance but wasn't our worst, but you do expect better from all of our play makers in that situation.

    Another good game.

Titans get out to a 22 - 0 lead and the Raiders end up winning 24 - 22.

    Quality hit at the end.

@arhs Timoko's a Kiwi. Use to go to Auckland Grammar and was a gun midfielder for their 1st XV.

Yep. Him, Luki, Fidow all young and exciting. Cotter tough as hell. Dearden showing a bit of what he is capable of.

But balanced with old guys like Holmes and Townsend playing really well. And Granville not over doing it.

3 rounds in and it's been an interesting start

Penrith far and away the best looking side so far. Soft draw you have to say, but going well.

Cowboys looked dogshit in W1, but have now won the next 2 and flogged the Broncos.
Speaking of the Dogs, they have started 1-2 but a points diff of only -5. They are not giving up a lot of points, which is probably the best place to start given their squad. Probably should have won yesterday
Manly are battling. Turns out you need more of a game plan than hoping Tommy Turbo carves up. No reason for it to be going this wrong though, they have a good side.

Roosters got a touch up on Friday. They look really clunky in attack as they bed in their spine. Still too much talent to not be there when it gets serious.
The Bunnies much the same. Their halves are very ordinary, but they have a lot of really good players (how good has Murray started?)
Melbourne are battling away to start the year, and really need fit hookers and Munster to step up.
Cronulla the surprise package of the first couple of rounds, look really good. Even Moylan is playing like a competent first grade 5/8
Parra are 2-1 and seem to be going okay actually. I still have serious doubts, because, well, it's Parra and it's not the 80s

Jury is well out on what the Broncos, Dragons, Raiders, Knights and Titans are. Not contenders anyway. All battling away for a spot at the very bottom of the 8 is my guess.

Tigers and Warriors are at the bottom and still sinking. I don't see any hope in either club. There isn't exciting youth. There isn't a growth culture. There is band aid signings in a hope it will push them up the table. It won't.
