RIP Warney

@mariner4life Absolute legend who put fear into the hearts of many NZ cricket fans. You just knew he was going to break the comeback partnership and start a collapse.
Saw him at a petrol station in Melbourne in 2004. Assumed he was buying pre-paid SIM cards.

The accuracy. The drift. The turn and bounce. It was masterful.
And the way he set guys up. He seriously might be the best cricketer of my generation.
Saw him get his 300th v South Africa at the SCG. That's really my only big warny live story
It’s actually very hard to argue that much as I’d like to…..
Who else is there ? Tendulkar ? Lara ? ( my personal favourite ) Kallis ? Murali ?
Pace bowlers like Ambrose and McGrath were outstanding but we’ve seem guys like that before…..Warne was outstanding in his uniqueness

If anyone has access to Amazon Prime, there is a recent documentary about Shane Warne hosted on there. I watched it a couple weeks ago so I was pretty shocked hearing the news this morning. RIP Warney.

@kiwimurph yeah really good, but I’m a simple man.

Shane Warne was watching cricket, about to go to dinner before 20 minutes of CPR
Harry Morrow left a can of VB, a meat pie and a packet of cigarettes at Warne’s feet on Saturday, in memory of the man he said “was Australian cricket”.

Ian Healy is a fucking dick and his "I'm not surprised Warney has passed away young" comment shows just what a fuck stick he is. Fuck you Ian Healy you cuntstain.
Why? Because he's being honest that a close friend of his didn't look after himself and he was worried he'd die early as a result?
