    Well that was fun.

Not often I watch tennis but was quite in behind Barty.

Back from 1-5 down in the 2nd to win 6-3 7-6.

Some great shots especially the last cross court winner.

Yank didn't endear herself but I didn't mind that. Had about two supporters in the stands so gave it the full Leyton Hewitt.

Not sure if I can stay up for the doubles, but that could be fun with Kyrgios.

Was a good match and didn't require a dickhead's antics to make it "entertaining". I'm assuming Covid doesn't exist on the court and only reaches into the stadium and elsewhere?

Collins had to gee herself up for it and she did. She pushed Barty hard, was a worthy opponent

Did she do a 5 minutes speech at the end where she thanked everybody, got emotional and made it all about her?

Why are you so worked up about this?

    Who says I am?

    Yeah man, I'm counting 🙄

You've had your knickers twisted ever since Alcott made his speech, and I'm not sure why. Seems a fight not worth having.

    Coz he's an arsehole?

Check out his argument with the ump in the semi.

    And everyone loves Rafa.

Expect the ruski will win out tho.

How on earth he won that set I have no idea. Nadal seemed to be on top of him all set!

Can’t blame him for shoving it to the crowd there. Playing in front of people who loudly cheer your errors then boo Hawkeye for awarding you points would really get on your tits.

You have to admire Medvedev's game. The man is a stone cold assassin

He looks like Kevin from accounts. Evidence that you don't need to look athletic to be a great tennis player. He has the opportunity to dominate for a little while

I don't get this, or tennis followers in general. Does anyone know Medvedev or do they just not like a player who beats players they like, who they also don't know.

I wouldn't endear myself to a crowd that booed me either.

    Kinda good at tennis though.

    Refuse to like him.

Nadal to serve for the trophy. He's absorbed everything Medvedev has thrown at him
