I think we've all learned that in 2016 the idea that any decent 15 a side player can transform to being the same in a 7's team is no longer realistic

With that in mind I hope they play Hayne against NZ

However Rod Kafer made a good point on a TV show in Aus when he wondered if Ben Ryan's ulterior motive for adding Hayne (other than publicity) was to motivate his existing players to pull finger more so they don't lose their place to this...well...dickhead actually (http://www.smh.com.a...519-gozd52.html ).

Think Ryan has enough resources and is too knowledgable to play Hayne in any meaningful role.

Hard to see how they need to be motivated more. They've all but sewn up the World Series and have a chance to go to Rio and win gold.

Bringing in Hayne now could have the opposite impact from that intended.

Many years ago that song, or at least the one I think you are referring to, got me laid. I and a few other blokes were having a pee at a pub and a chick walks in and pees at the urinal alongside us. I sing "One of these things is not like the others" and before you know it I was back at her place doing the deed on her father's favourite rug in the lounge room. She kept saying "I can't believe you came home with me and we are doing it on dad's rug. All the guys I have met are too scared of my father to have anything to do with me." I still wonder today who her father was.

Not sure what disturbs me more about that story ... the fact that you had sex with someone you met at a urinal or that you shared it with us ...

Toughen up Booboo a lot worse has been shared on here. And despite the fact we met at the urinal she wasn't a horror, which is surprising I know.

I'd say that's down to opportunity. A lot of 7s rugby played over here if you look hard enough, plus easier to get to tournies around Europe. Good money involved.

Plus not many chances to gain experience with the national side. Both Ryan and Friday have coached England.

Fiji v England starts at 11:04 NZT and we'll get a first impression of whether it was a good or bad idea to bring Jarryd Hayne into the Fijian squad.

Full time: England beat Fiji 31-10.

Not taking anything away from England's win, but Fiji was terrible. Not sure whether Hayne has actually touched the ball at all after coming on in the 3rd minute of the 2nd half. The last ball passed by a Fiji player was meant for him, but it was intercepted and England scored their final try.

By the way, Dan Norton scored an absolutely fabulous try!

Hayne was understandably lost out there. Had no idea what to do.

Hayne almost had a fresh air game, but he passed to and wrapped around the guy who threw the intercept at the end.

Hard to see how he'll master the work around the ruck to be anything more than high-risk to a liability at the Olympics.

Worst of all - I somewhat enjoyed watching England beat Fiji!

"Out, damned spot!"

Half time: Fiji 14 - 0 Wales

Can't say Fiji is playing well; it took them a long time to score & the last one was an intercept off a terrible pass from Wales.

42 - 5

Hayne gets three and a half minutes and Wales score immediately.

Much better 2nd half from Fiji; playing like they normally do.

Btw, some of these commentators are absolutely terrible!
