@mariner4life NFC race probably lost a couple of wildcard contenders today - the best Seahawks can finish now is 8-9 meanwhile Washington now have to turn around and play at Dallas in 5 days.

    AFC is a shitfight

Every single division is up for grabs. In 2 i think every team can win and every team can come last, and in the other 2 it's between 3 teams

NFC a bit more straight forward for the winners, but a few teams in contention for WC spots.

    Best season ever?

Only three teams in the AFC have a losing record. This season is really living up to the any given Sunday mantra.

God teh Titans have just fallen in a hole. O-line is cooked. Henry gone. They are just a shadow of the team from teh start of the year. Niners are all over them and this should get ugly on the scoreboard if Jimmy G can just be adequate (that pick in teh EZ was a terrible option)

Tennessee have no right to be in this, but it's 10 all. 49ers trying to throw this away.

NFL this year has been fun

... and one hella defensive play to pick off in teh end zone.

No idea at all how they got that win. Wow. Well done.

NFL is such great fun this year, I'm loving ir more than most of the rugby I've watched. Very few dud games on

Who was picking the Lions to thrash the Cardinals?

Kliff Kingsbury is now 5-8 in December and 0-4 in games that would clinch a playoff spot.

    Make that 5-9 and 0-5...

Broncos paying the price for having the most boring, risk-free offence in the league. Fangio has to go, and we need some sort of spark at QB.

49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is dealing with what a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter was a torn ulnar collateral ligament of the right thumb, as well as a fracture in the same thumb, that he suffered in Thursday's loss to the Titans.

Looks like he had an excuse this time

@canefan He was making bad throws and bad decisions before the injury in that game.

I don't think Jimmy G will ever play for the 49ers again.

    The transition is now.

Be interesting to see how Lance looks after supposedly being much improved in practice recently.

Sad news about John Madden today. Just recently a documentary came out about him All Madden which should be available for streaming in the new year.

Pretty pleased with Trey Lance's 2nd start for 49ers.

Got better as the game went on and really pushed the ball down the field - his arm opens the field up for the 49ers offense which Jimmy just doesn't offer.

Fairytale today or Browns spoilers? What say ye?

The buildup has already been big. Roethlisberger is a legend so wouldn’t mind seeing him get that 53rd drive and also keep the Steelers hopes alive.
