Chiefs win
Kelce comes in clutch with 3 huge plays late. Tyreek Hill as well.
I sorta hate the rule that Herbert doesn't even get the chance to tie it up.
Great fucking game. As much fun as you will ever have watching this sport.

The postponed Raiders Browns game means NFL films. I'm watching the story of the Vermeil Warner Rams. A washed out coach, a joke franchise and an arena league QB win the SB, one of the great Cinderella/ redemption stories in the last 20 or 30 years

@canefan there's a movie coming out this month called American Underdog about this very story. Anna Paquin playing Warner's wife and Dennis Quaid playing Dick Vermeil.
I'm getting dusty just thinking about it. Vermeil pushes the underperforming team to breaking point, Warner only gets his shot when the QB they bought in is lost for the season. Life becomes art, you can't write better fiction

The movie itself looks terrible

How good to get a Sunday arvo game
Colts running the ball straight down the Patriots throat

The Lions have a receiver named
Amon-Ra St Brown
Best. Name. Ever.

His brother plays for the Packers - Equanimious St Brown.
Their father thought they'd stand out more in pro sport if they had distinctive names. Can't say he's wrong.

Scary injury to Teddy Bridgewater.
I know it's talked about a lot in rugby but the injuries in NFL seem to get worse and worse with these athletes bigger and faster. The collisions are insane with players flying in at all sorts of angles with no regard for their bodies. I'd like to see the stats because it feels like injuries are rising despite the rules changing to protect against it.

it's been said a heap, but the game would be safer without the pads

And without helmets!
Was almost last man standing for Tampa.

The Saints have shown the formula to beat Brady. Have excellent shutdown corners that stop him from throwing quick passes and an elite front four that can produce pressure without having to blitz.
I know the bucs had some injuries but that Saints pass defence is elite.
