1/250 at the end of play was looking good.

Finding an offside fielder wasn’t easy

And he is usually a gun when it comes in at that length and height.

Almost few sorry for him….almost 😎

Buttler has dropped two absolute sitters today and caught the most difficult one.

And the crowd are letting him know it.

That was a shocking miss. Crazy that the ball went straight to the middle of the gloves and then just bounced out so easily.

Could’ve changed the game right there. Into the middle order

So apparently some club cricketer from NSW, who had flown in to watch the match, was at the restaurant and went over to say hi to Cummins at his table.

Apropos to nothing, but for some reason I really dislike Jimmy Anderson.

    Not sure why.

@booboo Anderson seems like a legend. 39 years old.

Whereas I’m a big fan. Have always liked him.

    I can’t stand Steve Smith.

I’m with you there. I think in my case it’s any fast bowler who overtakes Paddles but needs about 50 million more matches to do so.

Na hang on, I like McGrath and Walsh, that ain’t it.

    I’m not sure why either.

It might be the old “he only gets wickets when it swings/has helpful conditions/seaming wicket stuff that has been spouted so often it’s almost become the perceived truth. Of course he gets tons more wickets in those circumstances but then again which bowler doesn’t get his best figures when conditions suit him?

Anderson is a dead set legend but he’s not my favourite England bowler, nor England’s best. But he’s been very good for a very long time.

Oh and he is a stroppy fucker.

Actually he’s probably alright, I’m being a bit rough…..this was pretty cool…..and to be fair he has improved as he’s gotten older which not many quick bowlers can say.

The first bit of this video always amuses me.

I think it’s just wanky biased Wisden articles about any Englishman that irk me, but then again the Bobs and Vagene crew think Tendulkar was better than Bradman so what’s the alternative ?

    Who'd be an England fan.

They beat the edge about 100 times and you could say 'Jeez they've been unlucky today'. But then Buttler drops the sitter of all sitters and it's clear they deserve exactly what they've got.

Same thing happened in Brisbane. You can't drop easy catches and win tests.

Couldn't happen to a better bunch of blokes.
