Dan Hooker did a test weight cut and he can still make 145. He has an enormous frame for that division

It was done at the UFC performance institute so I guess the UFC has plans for him at that weight. Holloway? Ortega?

It looks like fun card this afternoon. Well matched, entertaining fighters.. good for a non ppv event

Kiwi Brad Riddell is the co-main event and should be fighting around 6:15pm. It's another tough fight for him. Fiziev is a good striker, they are ranked about he same and they used to train together

Riddell has 4 UFC fights and they've all been difficult. He's lost the first round every time but gone on to win everyone. A likely candidate for fight of the night

I think Font might catch Aldo in the main event. Font has the power and I'm still suspicious off the weight cut Aldo is putting himself through

I really rate Jimmy Crute. Hopefully he comes back from the leg injury well

Shit. Caught early and never recovered. Impressive from Hill

Amazing comeback from Guida in the previous fight

    Riddell up next…

Well Fiziev will be into the top ten after that

First round was really close. Fiziev’s speed advantage was more apparent in the second. Then that kick in the 3rd

A few people were predicting Riddell was going to have a wrestle heavy attack. We didn’t see any take down attempts until the 3rd. He had some success with that before the the kick

    Oh well

Here's the kick that ended it

Then in the main event, Aldo gets the decision v Font. The way he looks at weigh in doesn't seem to have an impact on his performance. On fight night he looks enormous

I had a terrible run on predicting results all day. The only thing I got right was that it was a fun card. Glad I didn't bet

    Really fun card

Great finishes for Morales and Kape.

    Really enjoy watching Curtis.

    My predictions guesses:

    Oliveira v Poirier
    Nunes v Pena
    Neal v Ponzinibbio
    KKF v Garbrandt
    Paiva v O'Malley
    Emmett v Ige
    Munhoz v Cruz
    Sakai v Tuivasa

Gone for an upset in the main event. Oliveira by submission in the later rounds

I like KKF's chances in this one. Cody will see the red mist after getting hit, stay in the pocket and brawl, then KKF will knock him out.
Hardly an original pick but I think Garbrandt is stupid enough to repeat his previous mistakes. Also, the extra cut won't help his chin

    KKF!

He did it with style. That should earn a title shot

A bigger upset than Holly v Ronda

Ngannou or Gane? (Francis vs Cyril doesn't sound as tough)

I'm tentatively picking Gane to stay out of trouble early and finish him in the 3rd

@duluth yea hard pick. Gane is big enough and good enough to play the stipe plan from the 1st fight.

Haven't seen nganou tested bar that fight really

Francis with KO / TKO after the second or third flurry

Bit of cat & mouse then ‘blink and you’ll miss it’

    Turman
    Nurmagomedov
    Pereira
    Moreno

Huh, a comfortable decision for Francis after getting several takedowns. The least likely outcome

Really improved his overall game in between bouts

    Deserved winner

I didn't think Fig did enough to take the title

    Razor thin decision

I thought Moreno generally looked better but I scored it for Figueiredo

    2 & 4 Moreno
1 & 5 were close rounds but I had DF edging them (the commentators made way to much out of the last 20secs of the fight)
3 was going Moreno's way but that knockdown swung it

I was expecting a split decision because the DF rounds were arguable
