Could do with Mayank's wicket

I've just tuned in, haven't read the thread. Looks rough out there.
They just showed Mitchell's stats as he's back into the bowling line-up. Yep, that's ALL-ROUNDER Daryl Mitchell. You know, the guy with a (small sample) test average of 133 (yes, that's bowling you tit), and a strike rate of 282.
Eek.
Nice ton for this bloke, looks happy.

Nicholls and Taylor are going to be under pressure to justify their places, especially with Kane out. If we can't get runs out of the middle order we are going to get pumped. Oh and why the fuck didn't we pick Wags? The deck doesn't seem to be giving much assistance, that's normally Wags time

Nicholls seems to really be coming back to earth with a thud. He's a walking wicket against spin these days where he used to be solid asf. Rosco is such a nervous starter these days, but this pitch with the better bounce may suit him more particularly if he can get to around 20 and bring out the slog sweep.
As to your last comment, it's always Wags' time. As we saw in the tests against England, he's a lot more versatile in his bowling than we give him credit for. Maybe Stead just hasn't processed that yet.

I'm so laughing at the descriptions of Mumbai as beautiful - looks smog-riden hell on earth to me.
Never been to Mumbai - but spent a heap of time in Delhi... and that was a smog-ridden hell on earth.
And the weather reports for the country always displayed estimated weather, temperature, and... smog levels. And Mumbai was always, by far, the worst city in the country.
Also, what I found (initially) amusing, was - leading up to an election - the statistics of each candidate in the daily papers. Years in Office, Province of Birth, Current Portfolio, and... Count of Criminal Charges Pending. (zero candidates had a "0" in the latter category - all stemming from the Sikh riots, from the basic research I did into "WTF?") -

Here’s some news to make you cry into your cornflakes
I have been worried for a while now that Kane's elbow is Crowe's knee all over again. I friggen hope not.
