@virgil I followed the instructions. That sort of sappy symphonic singer songwriter stuff normally does my head in. Those three not so much - although I'd never actually play them by choice.
Beatles one I threw in as grunge / metal seems to be the genre of choice for most here so I thought I'd put up the great granddaddy of them all.

@rancid-schnitzel He was, but had a bit of a re-evaluation with the yacht rock scene. Some of his daggy sweater era stuff is still pretty uncool, I suspect.
If any song by him was cool, it was Dangerzone. Archer references didn't hurt.
I love this one from his first album:

Late to the party on this
I'll start with Creed. Fucking loved them back in the day, even went and saw them live. That dickhead lead singer was so fucking full of himself it's not even funny, the concert was basically him down on one knee throwing his long hair back pretending to be God.
This song was epic though

SllipKnot might be a bit too mainstream? But I cranked the fuck out of them when I was an angry young man. Don't know how many times I listened to their first album, loud as fuck.
