so long as they kill the High Sparrow, I don't care what he told Tommen!

Sure, but like most things in GoT and A song of Ice and Fire, things most often don't turn out as expected.

In fact, a "war" between Lannister and Tyrell may just put the "Sparrow" and his followers in a stronger position as the two main forces in and around Kings Landing destroy or severly weaken each other.

One thing would really piss me off is if Lady Olenna falls for this as she has come across all series (and in the books) as a very shrewed player of the "game of thrones". Surely she should be able to see through this possible plot of the incest twins.

In fact, there is considerable chat on the interweb as to whether or not Ser Loras would have even known of the successful plot to poison Jofferey as Margerey only found out after the peice and that was only to insure she went into marriage with Tommen fully informed. Olenna would have had no reason to tell Loras who has already showen he is happy to give away Tyrell secrets in pillow talk with his various lovers.
-
Hmmm. While I'm sure the High Sparrow is happy to see the Lanisters and the Tyrells kill each other, I don't think he'd be too keen on facing the 2nd strongest army in Westeros led by arguably the best commander,i.e Fat Sam's dad.

I also don't believe Loras or his sister knew about Joffrey. They didn't need to know and probably would have screwed things up if they had.

But what else could the HS have told Tommen? He wouldn't have believed the incest thing.

It should also be remembered that Cersei is facing a trial by combat soon and would be keen to avoid it.

But I assume that fight will take place and it will be between dead Gregor and not dead and now very holy Sandor (burnt face dude).

It's all very exciting even though it's infuriating how they're pissing more and more on the books. Ultimately the fat, old perve has himself to blame for not getting on with it. -

Maybe the High Sparrow is playing Tommen knowing he will tell Cersei any lie he tells him...although surely as a man of God he wouldnt sin and lie to Tommen.
-

Elaborate further. Is he coming back ?
-

well he was not dead when Arya left him...it is assumed he died.

Judging by the state of him you'd assume his fighting days were over. But then again his big older bro ( played by an actor 20 or so years younger ) made a hell of a recovery.
-

he had help fro GoT's very own Dr. Frankenstein...

Jon Snow looked like his fighting days were over too
-

Yeah I reckon it's inevitable. In the books at least someone resembling him had joined the faith.

Having him fight his psycho undead brother is just too cool to not have in the show.

Didn't Ayra also forgive him in an earlier episode? He's one of the good guys now.

So, a wild, probably bullshit prediction is that the Tyrell's pull a fast one on the Lanisters (possibly by confessing the plot to the HS) and the trial goes ahead. Cercei thinks, no big deal I have the monster. Faith then reveals Sandor. Sandor wins. Cersei farked. But then Dani shows up.

I wonder if you can bet on who tops LF in the end. I'm thinking that Robin gets buttered up by Sansa and orders him through the moon door. Either that or Ayra kills him. But I think she'll take out Cersei.
-

Some tasty prospects with head to head battles this season.

Snow/Stark/Targaryen vs Snow/Bolton (Bastard bowl)

Dany + Dothraki + Drogon vs Slavers/Sons of Harpy

Lannisters + Tyrell vs High Sparrow then vs each other

Clegane vs Clegane (maybe, fucken hopefully)
-
