EPL 2021 / 2022

@majorrage Levy should have given Poch a chance to rebuild the squad as reward for a number of very good years. He didn't, the players were getting stale and stopped listening as Poch predicted, and he lost his job. Several of those players are still there. Unless Conte thinks he can turn them around they should be shipped out soon. We got rid of several in the offseason, and new players like Romero, Royal and Gil look very good, along with young academy players like Skipp and Tanganga
-
@majorrage Chelsea are going good aye? Like their team and like their coach. Playing good, balanced football. Will only get better too.
-
@mariner4life Chelsea or Liverpool for the title. Both look well coached and are playing some very good stuff.
Man City should have bought Kane instead of Grealish in the summer.
-
@mariner4life Yeah, I think Tuchel is working out very well.
Now that I say that though, of course its' going to be a rough trot ahead. Liverpool still looking very strong.
Great to see the Arteta / Klopp scrap yesterday. Good to see some passionate coaches.

@majorrage I am no fan of clown Foster, but OGS much, much worse.
I'm just glad he held on long enough for us to ship out Nuno and ship in Conte before Yanited asked him!

Yeah, I think Utd shot themselves in the foot by beating Spurs a few weeks back, ended up taking the only decent candidate off the market

I've seen some silly shit around "who would actually want the job?"
Seriously?
Huge club. Roster stacked with talent. January window just around the corner. Heaps of money.
Someone good will want it.
-
The manager isn't really Utd's biggest problem though, the people running the club have no idea what they're doing. They'll find another manager who might do better, but they're not going to match City or Chelsea until they sort out the mess behind the scenes.
They need to bring in someone like Ralf Rangnick as director of football, maybe get him in as interim manager short term until they can find the right manager longer term. Zero chance of that happening though, CR7 wouldn't stand for it

Is anyone good available at the moment? They'd be better letting Carrick and Fletcher see out the rest of the season and then swoop on someone decent in the summer.

@junior Pochetino seems the obvious candidate if they wait until the summer. As long as they don't accidentally give Carrick the job long term because he has a good run of results....
Or because he is a "Club Legend"

It was a massive error for Man Utd not to sign Jurgen Kloop when he was keep to come in 2013. He would have been the ideal replacement for Sire Alex Ferguson. Both Moyes and Van Gaal should have been given more time. Mourinho was a terrible hire for Man Utd. Clash of cultures and styles. OGS was an even worse hire. Not the CV for it. Out of his depth. He has looked an ill man in recent weeks.
My guess is Zinedine Zidane will be their first choice. But apparently his wife is not keen on a move to England.
