Should be a real fight alright. Amazingly TAB are still offering over $4 for a Takam win

Sonny Bill would waste them both then go on to win Nascar, the PGA tour, the Tour de France and the Superbowl all within a year.

Yeah bets will be on the home boy with a NZ public , that will decide the odds ,

Those odds on takam are good odds for the neutral punter

I have had an uneasy feeling for a couple of weeks now. Want to be wrong but I think this one is going to end with JP looking up at the lights with his back on the canvas.

    Yeah I'm nervous too ,

The footage online of takam hooking and uppercutting makes me feel uneasy too , just don't like the massive jump up in class between the fat cab drivers he has fought to takam .

Yeah well if Trump can continue to run for president spewing all his hate I don't expect to see this PPV giant stripped of his titles. This thing called "money" will have too much of a say in both cases.

He is entertaining, complete bigot, but an entertaining bigot.

I found a link on YouTube - listened to him gibbering on about zionists owning all the banks and the media and that we were all being brainwashed by them while he was being open minded. Sounded a bit like Winger with a lobotomy.

I really couldn't be bothered to watch any more. It's not his bigotry that annoys me, he just reminds me of the pub bore.

Anyway roll on the fight, at least he's got me very interested in that.

No Wilder-Povetkin fight as the latter has returned a positive test for the banned substance meldonium. That's the same drug Sharapova tested positive for.

As someone said previously he has his role and he's playing it to get attention for the fight which is the sort of carry on that has gone on since the fight game began. There's no "I'll take each opponent as he comes, full credit" type clichéd rugby shit so surprised this is getting the airtime that it is to be honest.

Stuff saying the odds are similar all over the world - which they need to be to avoid potential arbitrage.

Ok , most experts are picking Joseph ,

But there is an element of the Unknown , it's all based on potential rather than track record .

We find out a lot more about him sat night .

Every single fight that Parker has is his "Toughest fight yet".....the hype gets pretty obnoxious quickly, that American whose name I've already forgotten was supposed to be a much better challenge than he ultimately was. Takam has a great record and looks in top shape but how many "names" has he beaten ?

Nascimento and Botha are overlap with Baby Joseph. Takim beat Nascimento in fewer rounds than JP, but took much longer to put away Botha.

He lost to Povetkin, who is currently ranked 3rd in the world (behind Fury and Vlad).

Perez is ranked 22, Thompson 28 - Takim himself is 26 and Joseph is 12.

Not sure what the highest ranking of anyone has been when JP actually fought him, but no-one he's fought in recent times is currently ranked in the top 50. I think this is his toughest fight to date, but I think he'll win (and win early - I'm saying 2nd round - Joseph to be too young and too fast) - the bookies tell me that and I think Duco would have been pretty careful to choose someone who suits Joseph.

But it's true, every fight Parker has is his "toughest fight yet". That's how it works, he starts at the bottom and works his way up.
