    @l_n_p

I think Ireland will be extremely difficult.

By the time the games come round we will be in serious squad mgmt mode, not just from a gametime perspective but also because we will have been on tour for a long time.

At least the players/mgmt will have a bit more freedom from Covid restrictions, when in the UK, Ireland and france

@dagrubster Yeah, it will be difficult to cope mentally. Physically we should be fine as there is a large gap between now and the next game and we can rest some of our starters against the US and Italy.

Got my tickets but pissed off it’ll be a ramshackle side come October.

In good news, Tomos Williams was on another level for Cardiff last night.

    He’s our best 9 by a mile.

Could have done with him in South Africa

Almost always. I just think that it's post-Schmidt and AB's will have enough to unlock Ireland in a tight game, after playing a B-ish side vs Italy.

It's the one week turnaround to France in Paris that worries me. I reckon they'll drop one of these two games.

I'd rather they target France tbh to get a psychological edge before the RWC but it's a tough finish to the year. Could only be tougher if England replaced Ireland or Wales on the itinerary.

So this is up next, I assume a pretty much full strength team, with seconds out for Italy next. Anyone want to guess at the 23? Outside of Sam and Brodie, with Jordie at 15, I have no idea!

Some big clues in who they sent over to Wales early:

Brodie Retallick, Rieko Ioane, David Havili, Nepo Laulala, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody, Shannon Frizell, Ethan Blackadder, Ofa Tuungafasi, Akira Ioane and Jordie Barrett

Frizell was sent over early because he has an injury, so ignore him

I guess everyone else will start apart from one of the props

They’ve been using Blackadder at 7 and that looks like his best Test position. Ioane at 6 and probably Savea at 8.

Cane might be on the bench again

Never thought I would want a pasty ginger Scot over a Cane's legend!

Hopefully they're just late in putting it up and there's not some weird NH rights issue that means they don't have it.

Stan have it just not up yet. Stan mentioned it after the Japan Australia game, During their post match show.
They said you could see wales V ABs live on Stan next week.

While it appears they like DH at 12, you'd think from today, Tupaea was really the only one whos stocks rose considerably, and should be pressing to start ahead of DH, below is what I'd pick.

    Moody, Taylor, Ofa
    Brodie, Whitelock
    Ioane, Jacobson, Savea
    Weber, BB
    DH, ALB
    Ioane, Jordie, Reece

Taukei'aho, Laulala, Tu'unukuafi, Barrett, Blackadder, Christie, Mounga, Jordan

I can't see Beaudy starting, maybe this one but not the big games. He's just not been upto standard

Would be a big call to jump Christie over TJ.

I can't really see it, because if things are turning to custard under Weber - you'd want to bring on TJ's experience, rather than a rookie who's not as good as your starter.

Even though form today might suggest some logic.

Jordie needs to take all the goal kicks. No mucking about. The guy has had a rough deal last year or two from the management.
