I assume farmers are too blasé about vaccination? I wonder how must rural towns are going

Jeez look at our old hood though @taniwharugby

I'm in Sydney, the mother of this outbreak, and the vaccination rate in my suburb is only between 60-70% 1 dose and between 30-40% 2 doses. WTF. We even had a drop in vax place here when the numbers were going nuts.
*The one caveat maybe that the census numbers don't align with actual population as it's a heavy uni areas with USyd, UTS and a whole bunch of smaller unis and private providers in the area. Even so this is still shit.

Numbers like that indicate a feral commune nearby..
It's quite interesting looking a suburb numbers especially in areas you know well.
Our suburb is known for 'arty' types. Parents that ferry their kids to special schools and Steiner kindys. Percentages aren't terrible but certainly lower than surrounding areas. -

I've known that we, and Chippendale, have been lagging for a while, but not this much. It's not as though they're hugely poor suburbs either. Your fancy pants northern beaches are doing well though.
@Crucial I don't think there is a feral commune. It's a little bit arty in parts of Chippendale, but I doubt it's hugely anti vax. There's also a large Asian population in the area, but it seems that NZ Asians and Oz Asians might be different. The only anti vaxxer at my office is Asian.

Based on your sample size of one?
Yes, of course.

Anecdotal evidence rules these days. "I know someone who knows someone who had their vax and died...." yada yada yada

Have they actually charged the two women in MIQ with anything yet?
The Blenheim ladies appearing before the Court today either didn't request or weren't granted name suppression.
