We were lucky that first wave in 2020 was amongst those who were compliant, as they quarantine at home. Now it's amongst lower socio economic groups and gangs, is spreading quickly. Poor compliance, and poor living conditions, too. Sadly it will be their whanau that suffer and die, with high levels of co morbidities, and low vaccination rates

OPEN THE BARS NOW!!!
95% first jabbed in the leafy suburb of Wadestown. Sadly, we don't have a pub.
How do we see such information? Can I check Matamata somehow?

Having a retirement village in the area helps too!

I assume farmers are too blasé about vaccination? I wonder how must rural towns are going

Jeez look at our old hood though @taniwharugby

I'm in Sydney, the mother of this outbreak, and the vaccination rate in my suburb is only between 60-70% 1 dose and between 30-40% 2 doses. WTF. We even had a drop in vax place here when the numbers were going nuts.
*The one caveat maybe that the census numbers don't align with actual population as it's a heavy uni areas with USyd, UTS and a whole bunch of smaller unis and private providers in the area. Even so this is still shit.
