It will be interesting who will wear the 10 jersey most often in 2022: JGB or Love. Both are quite limited: JGB limited in talent and speed, and Love limited in SR experience and nous. I can't see Morgan getting much game time yet. He's been struggling in NPC and has been signed way too soon by the Canes. There's no way he's ready for the step up.
All are pretty average goal kickers, too. When Jordie is playing, that's no issue, but when he's not ...

@stargazer I'm hoping they will stick with Love, even with his inexperience he is sharper than JGB.
How many players are there still to be signed? I think I remembered Holland saying in a recent interview that they may look at a fourth first five option with Love also covering fullback.
I'm against that idea aswell as I think Love has looked alot more comfortable playing 10 than 15, plus Jordie has that position locked down.

Need another 6/lock to replace Fifita, need another centre/wing to replace Aso/Laumape and someone to slot into the wing spot Visignia had. -

Players I'd like us to select:
Hooker: anyone but O'Reilly
Locks: Two still need to be announced - Big Izzy is an obvious one but Geoff Cridge wouldn't be a bad option after having a good run without getting injured.
Loose forwards: Ardie still needs to announce his signing so that leaves one more opening. I like the look of TK Howden, Delany also looks like a solid option who can also cover lock.
Halfbacks: two still need to be announced. Jamie Booth is all but guaranteed but I think if we can get someone like Enari, that would be a solid trio.
Midfield: front runner is Danny Toala unless they bring someone in from outside the catchment.
Outsides: Could really be anyone at this stage, plenty of good wingers/fullbacks unsigned from the NPC. -

@canes4life I hope Kianu Kereru-Symes recovers from his injury in time to still get sufficient game time, especially because I think Ash Dixon will have to leave for Japan before the season is over. If Kianu plays well, he could be a good option for the third hooker spot. After all, he's been in the environment for two years.
Edit: the Highlanders may be interested, too. He's briefly been with them, too. IIRC in 2020.
