Some of the young players really stepped up. In some ways playing as well as or better than the more experienced players they replaced.
Otere Black mentioning there that some of them had just got off the tools on Thursday ahead of the game.
That result is a big relief.
If we didn't have so many injuries I would drop TTT, an absolute passenger at one of the most influential positions on the park, we improved out of sight when he went off. Jeez we have some injuries and happy to sneak away with that

yeah i agree, especially Carter and Webber playing out of position.. but all stand outs

Glad I tipped Wellington. Only way to get a BOP win. The early box kicking and handling was cringe worthy though. But some players really stood up. Carter and Webber showed guts in the backs Narawa was much improved and Sangster Ross and Broughton were great in the forwards. Sangster must have developed well playing in the US. But the key was the impact of Campbell and Tosi. Should have started them both perhaps.
Was stunned at the ref awarding the try on half time. Very poor officiating when they were over the top looking at other possible tries. Just turn a blind eye to the clear and obvious no try... -
