    Watched it ,

Magnificent from Usyk , very skilled fighter , undefeated , dominated the cruiser weight division before moving up , Olympic gold medalist , won gold in the same Olympics Joshua did in the division below,

I have to be honest I brought the hype a good big man will beat a good smaller man , but usyk was so slick , continuous movement , throwing from angles , 100 per ent skill set , AJ wasn’t horrible ,even if he is overhyped , just met a guy that had a plan to out point him and succeeded

That’s a bit of a recent myth that people buy into which is complete bullshit unless the big man is REALLY good. As one example Tyson Fury could not live with any of the top heavyweights of the 1970s ( Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Holmes, Shavers etc ) despite being so much taller and heavier than them.

Fury referred to Usyk as a nobody in the past, I bet you anything this recent fight will have changed his opinion.

It has an effect , which is why we have weight divisions ,

But class is class , usyk showed that today

Absolutely in lower divisions but heavyweight history is littered with examples of a guy who is merely “big” beating a massive guy. Dempsey beating Willard, Baer beating Carnera, Haye beating Valuev etc.

Usyk about to become the new Heavyweight Champion of the World

And fully deserved. Clever, skilful performance by Usyk last night against a much too passive Anthony Joshua. Usyk turned up in Tottenham in front of AJ's fans and gave him a masterclass.

Back to the drawing board for Joshua. He needs a new coaching team who will push him much harder and needs to get rid of the sycophants from his camp. Onwards and upwards for Usyk.

Haven't seen it but does this delay future fights or get them moving? Things seemed to be in a real tangle there for a while.

    It's heavyweight boxing

Chinese maths is easier to figure out

Happens in other Olympics sports too, particularly those that require judging like gymnastics or diving etc.

Anyone else excited about Fury/Wider ?

I actually am, Fury is savvy and the most skilled unco bloke I’ve ever seen in any sport. But Wilder will ALWAYS be a punchers chance with that power he has. It’s gonna be intriguing.

I genuinely like both guys when I see them interviewed so whoever wins I won’t be too despondent.

    Can’t wait

As you say, could go either way despite Fury being favourite

Depends which line of bullshit you believe. Each camp is saying their respective fighter is in the best condition ever while simultaneously rubbishing the chances of the other guy.

im picking fury , but thats been influenced by whats happened previously where he clearly had his number ,

but you know quite often rematches dont resemble previous fights so there is always that uncertainty ,
