@catogrande well I've got it with tonic and ice, might have a wee bit neat... It's OK.... The lemongrass is what I'm not sure of, apparently with lime and ginger ale it's a Thai Mule??? I think I could get on board with that.

That's really different than when I tried a Thai 'mule' ....

Whitley Neill Lemongrass & Ginger Gin
Haven't tried that one before @R-L
Have you tried their Blood Orange gin? I really enjoy that one, great on a warm summer afternoon. I have also tried their Gooseberry gin and Pink Grapefruit gin, both are also good.
But they do have some far out there flavours like Aloe and Cucumber, Protea and Hibiscus, etc. Those really don't appeal to be honest.
I do find most "flavoured" gins are best on the rocks without tonic. Tonic introduces other flavours which muddy the intended flavour of the gin.
Like that Whitley Neill Blood Orange, if you can get a big ice cube or better, a large ice ball, and just pour the gin over the ice, let it sit to cool down and then enjoy. Nothing more enjoyable.

@roninwc oooh Aloe and Cucumber sounds very nice! I shall look for that one.
Decided I am not that keen on the lemongrass after about 4 glasses. đ
Haha, great effort.
I would imagine the lemon grass taste would get overpowering after a while.
As it's meant to be 24 C today here in Sydney so I think I will have to follow your lead and enjoy a gin or two later this afternoon.

Latest booze order arrived
Another good Four Pillars gin - Spice Trade. Indian themed, can mostly taste the cardamom and chilli. No real heat from the chilli though
Little Biddy - this is a kiwi one. I can see why people rate it but I wouldnât get it again. Itâs nice but the botanicals are a bit too strong for my tastes. Prob makes a good G&T.

Just finished a bottle of the spice trade, really enjoyed it, thinking of the olive leaf one next as something a bit different

Visited the olds on the weekend and Dad decided to run a batch of gin through the still.
Pretty random recipe with whatever extra botanicals we could lay our hands on including some fresh kaffir lime and thyme.
Has turned out bloody nice and he reckons that it probably cost under $10 a litre to make.
This is just as good and smooth as any $70 for 700ml âcraftâ gin Iâve had.
Those bottles must cost a bit. -
Gin and Rum yo ho ho ho. Going to guess they don't mix.
-
So Kopperberg do Cherry Rum. And it's nice. It's not cidery at all so don't be confused.
Nay is it gin, but we have nay rummy thread! -

I thought Christmas was an annual not weekly celebration?
I've got some chocolate fish gin arriving today. Sadly it is not the gin flavoured chocolate fish I fancied I'd ordered - great for those boring meetings.
Rather it is chocolate fish flavoured gin - which sounds more than a little weird.

4 pillars do some nice gins. I finished a Tanqueray Sevilla orange gin the other day which was quite nice. If I see another bottle I'll pick it up again.
