Black Caps tour of Pakistan

@rotated I'm certainly not defending Pakistan or the ISI, and I wouldn't tour there. But we run the risk of Pakistan pulling out of future tours to NZ, England, etc in retaliation if they aren't given some general explanation. This could get very messy and even more political.

Maybe they were given the explanation but they are trying to deflect to save face with their fans?

@mariner4life and the way they are collectively whinging about us leaving won't endear them to any future tourists. Just because you've had 99 days without incident doesn't mean you ignore warnings about something happening on day 100.

I did read this:
Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, told a press conference the threat was a conspiracy from another country, and “an attempt to damage our efforts for peace in the region”.

Well good on them for being fluffybunnies about it

Meanwhile, back in Mumbai, I can imagine some spotty Indian teenager cricket fanatic laughing his head off after his efforts to prank call the NZ hotel in Pakistan with a terror threat pays off. In one small phone call, he pisses off Pakistan and makes those horrible WTC winners take all the abuse. Two enemies in one play...
A plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel!

That's just standard Pakistan crowd-pandering politics - a "subtle" hint that dastardly India is behind it.

Welp there has already been repercussions
