So has Super Rugby Transtasman and 3 games vs us actually helped the Wallabies. Even though they lost they played at a high pace each week.

Congrats Wallabies, not often you beat the world champs twice in a row.

Not often they win two in a row period.

    First time for Rennie

They need the Jaguares back. Whatever competition they'd play in, it would be better than now, with most of their players playing in different teams in Europe, a few in Oz and some in the inferior SLAR comp.

Sad to see, much prefer a strong Argie side. I do wonder how the pandemic has impacted many of the players and teams.

    Incorrect.
Their first test, this year, against Wales was a 20 - 20 draw.
They beat Wales in their second test: 33 - 11.

Plus a kiwi coach, and to think the brass at Oz Hq say we don't care about them.

so do we need to beat the Boks next to gain #1?
That would add a bit of incentive. Or at least, spice.

Congrats Oz x2. Kerevi my MOM 2nd week running. Ikitau great too and our missed tackle count was already 12 at HT. ABs are going to clean our pipes by 20 without some changes but our fitness isn’t going to be fixed in a week. We just continue to battle in Oz v Oz…

Super rugby is real preparation for international rugby. I think the decline in super rugby quality led to the poor rwc performances in 2019 from sanzaaar

Yup, I'd Oz had gone 14 up we'd be 1. No matter how much we beat Argentina we can't get enough points. It's on the line next weekend.

Unless we lose this one, obviously

@nta that ref definitely had it in for the Wallabies. Someone must have done something to piss him off. They nearly talked themselves into red carding Swinton for a shoulder to shoulder tackle?

But fuck him, we were good value and won well regardless.

I reckon the ABs will tear them a new arsehole.

Man the Wallabies smacked them, should have won by more in the end. 4 tries to 1.

I don't know what to make of that. Bar the final 20 minutes if the first Bled we've absolutely dominated the Wallabies. Are the Boks really that bad? Or do they just have a mental block playing in Aus?

One thing is for sure though, Quade Cooper has made a fucking huge difference at 10. They are a damn sight harder to beat with him there instead of the youngster. Gotta hand it to the bloke, I thought he was done and dusted with the Wallabies, to come back and play so well is a credit to him.
