Wallabies vs Springboks I

Is To'omua injured? I would have thought he could play a similar role to Cooper in this test, and with some recent form on his side.
He doesn't have any recent form. Fifteen minutes ripping into Bled 1 doesn't offset the rubbish Super season he had playing a rubbish game plan at the Rabble.

Very strong Wallabies team. Definitely favorates with Cooper back in 10.
Hope Bok rush defense is on it.
Seriously ? No way.
Totally not serious. He's just desperate for that under dog card. World champion, world number one, lion taming boks are the favourite in every match they play for a while yet
Would it be fair to say that the Boks have a bit of an “aura” about them…? @booboo
Whiff of boerewors?

@nta But compared to Quade?
Well, yeah... I'm really not sure what is going on with that.

Decidedly awkward interview but I thought Quade spoke very well (as an aside, his voice-sounds like SBW).

He seems to have grown up.

@pakman yes. And I think the NZ fanboi reactions and cheapshots (from me too) obscure from his decided entertainment value as a 10. Might still be a defensive liability but has some great skills. Hope he plays well, have not followed his recent games overseas...

Frankly I thought Quade wasn't as bad as we made him out to be.
But that was mainly because he wasn't as awesome as the Aussie's made him out to be.
I think most of the opprobrium (my current favourite word) directed at him was a direct result of the overrating of him by the Aussie media (particularly the Fox Sport cheerleaders).
Frankly I rate him as one of the better Aussie 10s in recent times.
And he can tackle.
Not sure what his current form is like.

What do ex-props know?!
Pretty much everything 🤷♂️
Darwin's company does game and player analysis. http://www.gainline.biz/
Interesting points around cohesion and the effect on performance

The Quade hate thing was somewhat amusing but probably deserved after the knee to Richie McCaw's head.
Tho in your collective role as Stoic Custodians Of The Game, you carried on with the booing long after it was probably necessary
After the whole "he doesn't defend in the front line!" got going, nobody appeared to have an issue with every other 10 doing the same once the value of counterattack opportunities was understood.
So it is a mixed bag.

For me the booing sort of ended up like calling out beeeeeeeaaaast, just the thing you do (yes kiwis did that in NZ). For most it was not malicious, just banter. Call yourself NZ rugby public enemy no 1, then you can't whine when you get treated like it.

The knee was the spark, but it continued because it had an effect on him. Home crowd shenanigans aren’t unique to us.
