<p>The apparent difference between NZ and Australia right now is that no-one seems to be able to hang onto power very long at the top here. It isn't necessarily a weak opposition, either - just that good opposition leaders seem to be having a hard time once they get the job, then slowly have their reputation eroded because of flip-flopping and general lack of unity in their own party.</p> -
