Kirifi continues to prove how much of a douche he is
Stuff has been told the 24-year-old Wellington flanker and the 23-year-old Northern Stars mid-courter hosted a gathering at their Porirua home last weekend, with at least four others, and attended a Sunday night gathering in Titahi Bay.
He needs to be permanently stood down this season, fucking fluffybunny. Not like there's any excuse
What an absolute fuckwit he should be held responsible,And not get a slap on the wrist.
-
He’s becoming more and more polarising. For the Lions captain to be doing this shit is disgraceful.
-
@yeetyaah Waikato can have him back at this point. He’s only getting in the way of someone like Josh Southall coming through anyway.
DPK has anger issues that he needs to sort out. It’s been highly noticeable on the field over the last year. I mean the guy walks around like he owns the place.
-
@canes4life He's a Taranaki product.
-
@bovidae true, but he went through the Waikato dev system. Either or, I'm sick of his antics.
It was noticeable from one of his first training runs with the Hurricanes when he got into a fight with Ardie Savea. The kid obviously has a few flaws in his character, probably not the best option to be captaining a side.
-
@canes4life no thanks. I really don't like him. I said that he just seemed like a dickhead last year and everyone on here said it was a bad take.
-
@stargazer good to see Holland isn't trying to make excuses for him. I hope he's stood down for the first two rounds or something atleast, because he shouldn't get away with that.
-
@canes4life As we're in the NPC season, I think it's more appropriate that it will be an NPC punishment/suspension than a SR suspension.
-
$300 fine each, from Police. It fucks me off that they can jsut say they are 'hurting' and 'aware of the mistake' etc and thus get no real concequences - it is not like it was 1 incident.
-
@machpants Don't think the police could do more than fine them $300 each? What other consequences could there have been from the authorities?
The question is more, will Wellington Rugby add their own punishment. I assume they first had to await the police outcome. Now it's their turn. I'm not reading in that article that that decision has already been made.

I'm talking about rugby, not police. Holland saying 'he's disappointed' 'he's learned' 'he's hurting' - the way coaches speak is like the criminals are the victims, see violent offender and ABs coach. There should be outright condemnation, not the bullshit we here. Multiple instances of getting on the piss whilst the country is doing it hard, unable to go to funerals etc, is just not good enough
-
@toddy I don’t agree with that. He’s the captain of Wellington and should be setting a good example.
If they don’t suspend him for a game or two I think that sends a pretty soft message to the rest of the team / other players around NZ. It’s pretty much saying that if a senior player can get away with doing shit like that for a measly $300 fine then other players might just push the boundaries aswell.

Don't see why they need to be punished further. A $300 fine and public humiliation seems more than enough imo.
Kind of agree with this. I tend to have a forgiveness attitude with younger men and women. As long as its a one off. edit although he is not that young now and should know better
