May have been posted earlier, but just reading Nick Willis ran the fastest ever 1500 metre time by a 38 year old in his semi.

Seriously, how do you screw up a baton change at this level?

The higher the level, the faster you're going, so the less room for error.

You see far fewer baton change fuck ups at club/amateur level, simply because they're moving much slower.

Early in the final round and Lyds is playing well, tied in bronze position with a birdie putt to come. I haven't been paying much attention but the comms think that if she had putted better she would be even better placed. Tee to green this hole has been precise

I agree it’s much harder than it looks but the US didn’t even look like they had trained for it. South Africa was even worse. Dude didn’t even have his hand out.

If Lydia can get hot with the putter she could smash this

Didn't see it as I popped away for 5 minutes. What happened?

@canefan I always make it up the hill, usually by skulling it through the back of the green

I'm consistently inconsistent from the fringes and on the green

I'm out of the house for the rest of the afternoon. Hope she does well. Lots of golf to be played yet so anything can happen

@canefan she lipped out for her par and Korda with 3rd bird in a row for a 3vstroke lead, then went wide with her tee shot on the next hole.
