Cindy Sember? I thought the evil (fertile month) was more often January?

January 2nd is the 'most popular day of the year to conceive'

January 2nd is the 'most popular day of the year to conceive'

Major factor is the desire for a September baby who will be the eldest in the school year

The Nigerian sprinters were insanely jacked. Could be genetics but even more suspicious now that one of their own has been caught. But obviously hardly a bombshell in sprinting where the bigger question is who is not on gear.

Adams throws 19.62. That's 3cm less than the American in 2nd place.

Can't keep up with all the sports I'm watching at the same time. 😃

Did they show Wesche's third throw? It was a new personal best at 18.98m. Now in 6th place.

Now to the next round of 4th throws.

So funny. Wesche leaves her fashion sunnies on and gets a PB.
    Just looks so chilled.
Meanwhile there’s an American gorilla stomping around in the background

Adams needs to throw 91cm further than her best throw thus far, to win gold.

I don’t think she’s gold material nowadays. Just to see her bow out on the podium.
.. and she’s got bronze minimum

Great achievement from both Kiwi women. Val Adams wins bronze and Wesche finishes 6th at her first Olympics!

    Awesome!

An Olympic bronze for Adams in her 5th Olympics after having two kids since Rio 16. What a legend.

Bloody good to watch that. I love Wesches' attitude. A fantastic end to Adams' career to medal.

The Chinese women had the best 5 throws of the comp and was the favourite going in, so a worthy winner.

Wesche is only 22 years old. Hopefully has still quite a few Olympics in her. So much promise. Will be keeping an eye on her from now.
