@taniwharugby nah the frogs are dancing and cheering now. Considering they came from nowhere to grab silver, that's pretty good

World Rugby need to put some serious money into developing referees, particularly ex-players who can move to whistle duties

You could tell that it hurt to lose, but then in their huddle the realisation that they had won silver took over. Great scenes.

well said fella. I'd settle for 'mediocre' in refereeing now. I think there's investment needed in both games; lift the standard significantly

Surprise packages of the tournament for me were Fiji, France and Australia. Two of them have improved out of sight and one has fallen of a cliff.
