NZ playing ROC again so the short turnaround isn't an issue.

It's ideal. Both teams have same turnaround.

Look at the difference between Canada and ROC!
Same number of competition points (5), same points differential (-12), same try differential (-2). I assume the Russion go through based on number of points scored? So close!

Black Ferns, who are scheduled to play Russia in the first quarterfinal at 8.30pm. Although, given what we just saw, they're unlikely to have much of a problem making the semis.
The rest of the quarterfinals sees Fiji v Australia (9pm), USA v Great Britain (9.30pm) and France v China (10pm).

France and NZL will make it easy.

The other matches are up in the air. Fiji and GB for me

More strange reffing Kenyan tackled deep and just holds the ball then stands up and passes it to a runner. Never released

@crucial World Series officiating is much stricter. It's almost as if they're trying to simplify things for the Olympics.

    Quality of TJ is worse.

Now he's complaining about refs not calling the quick tap back 🙄
