Its a shame the woman's sculls cant also do a 1000m, 500m, 2500m, forward, backwards as well...then we could clean up in the medals like the other countries do in swimming...
At least we have the kayaking to come, Lisa "Big guns" Carrington must be a serious contender again
Lisa Carrington. One should not find someone with shoulders like that so attractive.
She'd snap you like a twig with those arms
And?

Geez, there's a 13-year-old from Canada in the next heat.
Reminds me of the 1974 Comm Games in Chch where a young Canadian won gold and cried into her teddy bear in the medal ceremony. Just googled: no luck. Will Google harder.

Scoreless first half. Very defensive game by both sides.
-
Two great saves from our keeper.
We are struggling to create any attack

She competes for Russia, not Belarus. So both

Putting aside the question of whether golf should be at the Olympics (I think not), seeing it there highlights a rather bizarre sporting situation where the competitors have “on-field” support and input from a caddy/coach on every move they make.
Either make it a team of two (with both having to be from the same country) or make it an individual sport only with no caddies.
In cycling they remove the outside support of radios to advise tactics. Golf should take a similar move.
