So I didn't realise Lodge's contract was starting this week until 10 minutes into the game.

As I'm Zoom watching with a mate I said I'd continue supporting the Warriors until the end of the match and then I'm done.

RTS is still wasted on the wing though. They need to just need to bite the bullet and play Walsh at 6 if they want to have both on the field.

For the warriors to be any good they need to move walsh to six and Nikorima out. Kodi has been very poor recently.

Matt Lodge actually got through a lot of work and was actually impressed with most of his effort. Not surprisingly when he and AFB were off, we were under the pump.
SJ learnt how to control a game..kept us pinned down in the first half.
Need to get Rocco Berry more early ball, that kid was a good NZ signing.

Im sure on the negative side the judiciary though will remove Lodge and AFB from the next game for careless high tackles. The irony that S Katoa should have at least been yellow minimum in that game and overlooked was insane. It might be a positive if O'Sullivan is also ruled out but that would mean Kodi would need to lft significantly

I do not remember a game of SoO where so many people could give less of a fuck.

NSW are pissed it's in QLD again. But they've already won the series and theyre not fielding their best team. Sydney is a scary COVID shit show and they have bigger issues right now. A HARD lockdown has that state in the grip..

QLD is only concerned about who the next coach will be. It's likely a sweep and no-one wants to remember the bad times in Qld let alone deal with them while it's happening. I would imagine the crowd will mostly be die hard bogans and QueeNZlanders. The Kiwis show up in Robina more than any other fans.

Not to mention that staging of the game has turned political here. The opposition is spewing it's gone ahead with what's happening in Sydney and whatever Morrison's government has done to intervene....Im not entirely sure what that involved but NSW and VIC local governments seem to be extremely upset...
