Super Rugby negotiations stall as Australia cools on trans-Tasman competition
Rugby Australia appears to be going cold on the idea of a full trans-Tasman Super Rugby competition next year unless it is financially compensated.
Seems RA are leaning towards an Aus only conference with a champions cup style play off at the end. Possibly with an Aus only final prior to the TT component.
Seems more or less what we did this year with the TT bit rejigged.
They also seem to want NZ tv money? That seems laughable.
Sounds like that guy that brings cheap beer to a party then drinks all your good stuff.

Mark Robinson appears to be as average at negotiating international rugby as he was at playing it.
