Good start fellas, nice confidence booster for Rossco there !
I've been refraining from commenting lest I jinx him. Have you to blame now.
Lucky I’m not superstitious
If it wasn't for me countering your jinx that would have been caught.
He’s on 72, the boy done good already
@MN5 with another wicket?
80 is a very good score, so good two other guys got it as well.
We have a longer than usual tail today, can you avoid any more possible jinxes please!
Ok……when you put it that way…..but cricket being the game that it is also remember Watling, Santner and CDGH got a run between them last dig
And Blundell isn't exactly batting like a former test opener at the moment either...

That was an easy catch. To only get one hand to it is inexcusable at this level. He's barely club level from what I can see.
Turns out keeping is actually a core skill of a keeper/batsman, not just nice to have...

On the bright side we’re leading scores in the 80’s 3-2.
Of interest...

I have the sound off as trying not to wake the baby but the comms appear to have picked up on how shit he is given all the replays of him fucking up

@shark what we've got which I can't ever recall is a domestic comp that is throwing up quality players consistently. It's really important - the horror days of the 'biomechanics' era are well and truly gone. And (shudder) Andy Moles...
The high quality of the Supersport Series really has been a boon for us.

300 up for 4 is good, but as @Donsteppa says we have a long tail so these two need to push on

Yeah Wagner would be 8 out of that lot I think.

Right at the moment, BJ Watling (37.89) has just the 10th highest batting average of NZ players on this tour.
Behind, Conway, Mitchell, Williamson, Jamieson, Taylor, Nicholls, Young, Latham, and Blundell.
Another cross through Santners name if our coach had half a brain.

@chris-b said in Cricket 2021: NZ in England and WTC Final:
Of the 25 players Cricinfo lists as current England players only Root and Ollie Robinson have batting averages higher than BJ.
Ben Stokes is only a few decimal places behind.
Which backs up what I said about us being a much better team.
I will admit that some of our guys with inflated records are pretty early in their careers although this doesn’t take away from the fact that England are full of bog standard test cricketers.

Fuck. Time to shine son of John….
I have a feeling you and your positive attitude are somehow to blame for this.
We’re leading with wickets in hand. Quit complaining.
