Good session to get the upper hand. Southee absolutely superb.

Washed up, past it, too slow, too many 4 balls, doesnโt swing it any more...

Okay, I've finally seen the mullet which was mentioned earlier in the thread.
Goddamn magnificent.
An atypical colour for a mullet, I was expecting to see some sort of dirty-blonde neck-protector, but... that just adds a touch of exoticity. Very well done. -

Mark Wood gone for a duck.
Tim and Kylo are making good use of the new ball again. As much as Burns deserves a ton for saving his team, let's spoil things by taking the last two wickets and stranding him short ๐

Draw looking the most likely result.
Frustrating to lose a day for rain, and for the tail to really wag for england, and for us to collapse in the first innings, and for KW to not really contribute. And we're stlil ahead in the game
Seriously, though, for a result we'd need to score 150 quickly I think, and leave them 60 overs to chase it. And even then a draw would be the odds on.
Not sure that an aggressive declaration is what we need, particularly with a slow pitch. offering 250 at 4/over would be more tempting, but could too easily see a quick 50 losing the game.
Is this KW's lowest match aggregate? Must be amongst them, surely

Something satisfying about this series not really mattering, only a warm up for the WTC. Given the way the UK press refer to every single non Aus series as Ashes prep, nice to be on the other foot.
Still support the boys and hope for a win, but getting the guys into form is all that matters.

The bowlers are coming along nicely, even Mitch was troubling the batsmen with some turn and bounce. With Boult expected to come back it will be interesting to see who makes way. If there is any chance the pitch for the final will take spin I can't see us not taking Mitch, so maybe Colin is out. Even though the English commentators reckon he is the type of bowler who does well in CC with their conditions I don't want them to drop Wags
