Okay let's try 7 Rovers, 8 Aston Villa, 9 Leeds and 10 Newcastle
- Manchester United 218
- Arsenal 143
- Chelsea 136
- Liverpool 113
- Manchester City 92
- Spurs 44
- Leeds 22
You have the other 3, just the wrong positions.

@kiwipie Rovers in 8. They've been away for some time now. Villa at 10, Newcastle in 7
i followed rovers for ages, no way they can be higher than 8th

Must be 7 Newcastle, 8 Rovers, 10 Villas.
Out of interest, where do West Ham come in this? Newcastle have a better record than I realised.
- Manchester United 218
- Arsenal 143
- Chelsea 136
- Liverpool 113
- Manchester City 92
- Spurs 44
- Newcastle 37
- Blackburn 25
- Leeds 22
- Aston Villa 20
West Ham have the 6th they just achieved and a 5th back in 1998/99. So their rank is 15th below Forest and Norwich. Newcastle were runners-up to United for 2 consecutive seasons and also have 2 third finishes.
Final question for the day!
If the European Super League "Big Six" were decided using this scoring method after the first 10 seasons of EPL, who would be in the 6?

Hmm I can't remember when Abramovich bought Chelsea.
So Man u and Arsenal the obvious options. Rovers, Leeds, Villa and Newcastle my pick for the others.
Correct except for Villa.
Then I guess Chelski make it

Yes Liverpool it is - but nobody had said it until then.
That's all for today - but who is interested in entering my Euros competition? Should be launched towards the end of the week. For Euro 2016, @dogmeat was 3rd out of 28 so it is pretty easy to do well (I was 2nd).

Pep cocked up big time in team selection - and they looked lost for most the game. He finally found his top 11 for Europe, then decided that the attacking midfielder with most goals should play in a holding role rather than the 2 guys who can actually do the job well. Picked Sterling despite him always looking ineffectual against a decent defence and Chelsea just put 5 across the pitch and compressed the space. Very, very strange. Chelsea didn't even have to do that much, just grab a goal and sit back. And should still have sealed it with a second.
Have to say, Kante is an absolute machine. The number of times he gets a foot in to nick the ball away is uncanny yet he still finds time to drive his team forward. Well done Chelsea and Tuchel, a well deserved win.
Pep's downfall in this competition is and always has been his overthinking things and departing from what's been proven to work. I am no fan of City, but have today felt quite sorry for them as they've been the best team in the CL this year by some margin and that's why they managed finally to make it to the final (in other years, they've not been the best and that's why they've regularly been beaten over two legs in the earlier knockout stages). Again, however, Pep has guilded the lily and in doing so has probably cost his club a CL trophy.
They've been the best team in the CL apart from the other team which beat them and became champions.
But yes, lets make it all about Pep & City. It was so nice of them to let that other team, whoever they are, have their day.
How's that chip on your shoulder, chief? Anyone would think you're an AB supporter with that attitude...
I didn't say that to shit on Chelsea, who obviously have also been fantastic and were deserved winners. When I said that City were the best team in the CL this year, I meant overall and up to the final. Obviously, they were deservedly beaten in the final by a Chelsea team who were setup well and executed almost perfectly, but let's not pretend that Chelsea were amazing throughout the entire competition.
