Do you know young fijian centre Etonia Bainivalu (former Crusaders Knights U18) ?

He has signed for french club Toulouse.

@jauzy019 I had to google him.

    Born in Fiji.
    A winger.
    Former St Bede's College student.
Played for the NZ Barbarians Schools team in 2019 and scored a try against Fiji Schools.
I think he has played for Fiji U20s, but not sure.

Southland Stags’ 2021 prospects have been dealt a massive blow with impressive tight-head prop Siate Tokolahi heading overseas to play.

A big loss for the Highlanders too.

@bovidae and obviously chat about Collins and Regan heading to Wales, less of a blow thanTokolahi but still another season of change for the Highlanders coming i feel

@kiwiwomble Ainsley will likely end up as the starting TH prop in 2022 but Hohneck is 35 so the Highlanders will need to be looking for a younger prop to develop.

    Confirmed:

    Ospreys sign utility back Collins

The Ospreys regional rugby franchise can confirm the signing of utility back Michael Collins on a two-year deal.

This sounds like he won't play NPC:

Collins, 27, played Super Rugby for the New Zealand franchises - the Auckland Blues and the Otago Highlanders – and will join the Ospreys in the summer.

@stargazer For everyone's sake I hope he plays in the midfield! Much better player there than at fullback.

If I was completely honest, after a bit of an AB career and a bit of a Warriors career, ending things in France on a whack of money would be fucking awesome. Good on him, he wasn't the future.

@smudge No All Blacks, no NPC for Ngani. According to that media release, he will join the club already on 1 July.

Seeing him up close he's a big unit. And still 21.

With the Umaga-Jensen lads starting to fulfill their promise and Fainga'anuku also just 21 there's a lot of exciting young midfield talent around to be enthusiastic about. Ennor, too.

Laumape probably saw the writing on the wall.

@higgins It’s too soon I’m not ready to let another talented youngster go.

@mikey07 Only problem is they retain the "talented (HB player)" status forever but the "youngster" part only for a fairly limited period!

@higgins no worries, we've got your son Riley Higgins coming through the system. No doubt they will give him a 5 year contract aswell.

@canes4life He seems to be rather promising but we really can't lay claim to him as a born and bred Magpie and accept that he will one day return to Wellington once we have done the final development work!

@higgins I think you're confusing two brothers? Riley is the Hurricanes U20s player (one of Darren Larsen's favourites, who got so much game time that there wasn't much left for the other midfielders) and older brother Kienan, clearly not wanted by Wellington and therefore trying his luck in Hawke's Bay by playing for T'dale.
