The Crusaders are a far better attacking team then the Blues. The Blues have a lot more individual brilliance but the Crusaders have a well balanced backline where the players gel with each other. There is more to attack than scoring pretty tries.

    Hope you're wrong.

I've put the Crusaders -10.5 as my banker.

Pretty good man, 2 semi finals and a dodgy final loss to a crooked ref after topping our conference. And you?

Anyhoo let's leave you jealous pig-island haters at the door; we should be much further ahead, too many turnovers. Forwards dominant, Read looking magnificent, McNicholl with good finishing for his try, Nadolo and Volavola look like they've met before.

How about... Tana's record as coach is worse than Mark Hammett's.

Nah I haven't done any of those, I'm also a failure.

I don't hate Pig-Island, heck I don't even know what it is. Is it a book?

Of note - Romano has been pretty up and down, but has shown glimpses of being an AB, some good hits and work on defence. Read is going ok, but nowhere near what he's capable of, they just showed highlights of him kinda doing not much, but held onto the ball I guess. The Crusaders still with the side-to-side, but at least have runners moving forward. McNicholl starting to look like he belongs at this level.

That step for McNicholl's try was awesome. Volavola having a bit of a meltdown.

Crusaders with some decent defence, but saved by a bit of white line fever there. Force narrow the Crusaders lead, 13-12. Crusaders have lost their shape a bit on attack.

Force have been attacking all second half, came away with 3 points. Ref affected by home crowd a few times too.

S Whitelock off now which is bad.

McNicholl really does get manhandled more often than not, it's odd, it's not like his size is the issue, does he just have poor balance or no strength?

Franks has taken some pearlers off his toes this match.

Glad we didn't get carried away with rotating players.

This is the sort of game we have done exactly that in previous years and paid for it.

I think this year Toddy has changed a couple of things.

Firstly, his rotation policy as I outlined above

Secondly, I think he's learnt from Jamie Joseph and the highlanders.. instead of constantly fanning out across the field we are committing more numbers to breakdowns this year in search of turnovers and quick ruck ball.

Both changes are very positive in my ipinion.

That breakdown policy didn't last long.

Volavola obviously had a word to Cairns at halftime.

The Crusaders are routinely running out of numbers on attack in this half, what's up with that?

Force take the lead 19-13.

I'm sure you're all very happy the Australian team is now in front...

A bit of obstruction in the try there, Volavola can't complain though, too many errors when the Force are allowed to hang out in our backline like that.
