Seems like telling lies to humiliate someone on air is just fucking hilarious to some people. I think telling lies with the sole and only purpose of humiliating someone in front of a large audience is a dick move. And I sincerely hope that anyone who finds it funny gets humiliated by someone lying to them one day.

She was not doing anything to harm anyone, she was just trying to stop comments about her son. Misguided and a bit silly yeah. So yeah she put herself in a position where a couple of dishonest pricks could lie to her and humiliate her if they wanted to. But people with even a shred of common decency who get those sorts of chances every day, don't do it.
I think You, Hooroo and Auckland Warlord are just exhibiting your character., I am not annoyed.. no skin off my nose, just intrigued and informed yet again that there are some monumental assholes in the world that should not be trusted.. I have my share of robust debates on this board but what you see is pretty much what you get, I dont bother telling lies, and in my personal life I would never lie to humiliate a 'dickhead' or 'bint' if they were doing precisely nothing to harm me or anyone else....just being a bit dopey.
I wont trust much of what Hooroo has to say if all it takes for him to lie about someone is if he thinks they are a dickhead. Pretty low base. He must be an piston wristed gibbon to work for.

Deborah: I get that, but what Iâ€™m saying is, for my family â€” and a lot of my family have rung me and said â€˜have you heard this, Deb?â€™ â€” Iâ€™m just really disappointed. Say those things and then temper it with some positives. Have a look on Twitter, see the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Tino Best, Graham Onions â€” all of those people giving him their support because they know that tomorrow is another day.

Just somebody ringing a radio station in order to. talk about the show. Somebody who was assured twice that she was off air
 
Here is her response after the "incident"
 
"The first I knew about it [Wells and Heath not working on Thursday morning] was when a friend said it [the story] was online," Stokes said.
"It might have been nice to get one [an apology]."
Asked if she believed she deserved an apology, she stated: "I have got better things to think about. I guess a little bit of trust has gone. People can make their own judgement. There's worse things that happen at sea. It's a bit unfair on Ben."
Stokes said she rang the radio station because "I just wanted to put it out there that they had upset some family members".
"But I don't see any point in making any further comment," she said.

All pretty sad from the radio hosts. Not sure anyone on here wants a private conversation broadcast on air if they've been told they are off air.
Pretty tough lying and being a smart arse to a woman trying to stick up for her family IMO
