Haha, yes, I saw that. Still, rather that than the cyber-bullying that you see so often on social media. That really makes me puke.

Get rid of the lawyers and the ex judges that make up these disciplinary panels, they are the ones that are Fcuking it up.

I've got no problem with a player's disciplinary record being taken into account as a possible mitigating factor. But I have a huge problem with the character and remorse aspects. They are both totally subjective, and firstly, what a player does off the field should have no bearing on an on-field action. Secondly, any wankpuffin can show remorse after the fact, especially when it is something that a sentence is partially judged on. Holy fuck, we see the worst scum do it in the courts on a daily basis.

Fail, SANZAR.

A great example of 'doing a Willis'. The whole public flagellation penance thing again.

Why not make his apology to the victims directly. If he wants to tell his 'fans' he has done that then fair enough but apologising through social media is only for his own emotional appeasement.

CGW Breakfast were joking that he has probably phoned everyone in the Chiefs catchment area to apologise...

We shall never know, but had he gotten off, or not even cited, would he still have made the apology?

Probably not because according to Michael Cheika he didn't know he had even done it. I like Pocock, and don't really think he was trying to choke letich or anything but fuck me reading that apology of his is making it hard to keep my brekky down. Just say sorry I didn't mean to Poey!!!!!

Those are some impressive crocodile tears.

"It was never my attention to hurt him when I grabbed him round the neck and didn't let go until the maul had collapsed."

I'll bet those felating the prick online were defending his innocence until he gave his awesome heartfelt apology.

Actually I bet he doesn't. Only plebs like Nick have to part with their hard earned for one of those. Chokehold Dave is too busy leading by example by flying around the planet chasing a ball and playing under thousands of coal-powered lights.

Like him or not, this action is a fair way outside the public persona that he has built up. To post anything other than the above, would be out of character for him. He did something wrong, manned up, took his punishment and has written an apology.

He's still no McCaw though.

You mean this was just a basic, run-of-the-mill apology given by pretty much every player who pleads guilty before the judiciary? But I thought it was something special.
