Very conservative Blues side.
Once again Leon can't settle on a halfback. His 3rd season as coach and he simply rotates almost every week.
Wonder if it's trying to match a game plan. That said, he's been pretty consistent with other selections - rotating props, but the backline in general, and 8/10/15 have been pretty consistent.

If the 9s are Ruru and Christie, I'd prefer latter to start.

@kiwimurph Ray Niuia only played 1 haha when we lost to the Chiefs pre covid.

Taking the fam down to Dunners for the weekend along with a mate and his fam so will be at the game Friday night.
Will be my first time attending that stadiumit's an absolutely awesome sporting arena. Well worth a trip to go and see. We don't have enough proper rectangular stadia in NZ; Dunedin, Waikato, North Harbour are the big three I guess. It's such a better fan and viewing experience

The son wanted to go to a game as a freedom relief after months of isolation in the UK (and here) so a group of us are heading there from Qtown. Should be a good night. That Landers team isnโt as bad a I thought it would be. -
enjoy the game gents, know where your sitting? i always like the north stand, bloody steep and right on the touchline
-
@jk I went to this fixture last year. Great stadium and they have a great set of fans except for @Bones, @Siam and @Kiwiwomble. A lot of Blues fans there last year too which suprised me.
-
@african-monkey firstly....ouch
secondly, is Siam a highlanders fan?
-
@kiwiwomble Apparently......

If I admit to this will I be put on a register? Or another register I mean.
Oh, and how wonderfully inclusive of you little wokeman ๐๐
-
@siam nice to know there is another of us, had missed that you were :)...i do understand the point @African-Monkey was making now though
-
@kiwiwomble it's a fandom tempered with reality though isn't it. I could scarcely believe 2015 came about and scarcely believe it can happen again, but southerners are good folk๐

@dice Narawa has that outstanding half a game against the Landers then hasn't been sighted since? Telea had 5 minutes against the Canes and 10mins against the Landers and hasnt been sighted since either. Lam 5 minutes in his one and only appearance. Heem gets the start and plays the full 80 against the Crusaders. McDonald obviously doesn't trust either Emoni or Telea to start a game or Lam for that matter.
