@kiwipie If Newcastle win their game in hand then we are fucked. Otherwise I cling to the hope that we can match their points over the next few games and then it comes down to a winner takes all last game of the season (assuming we protect out positive goal differential.
Worrying that our defence seems to have got lax in the last three games. We have squandered two good chances to claw our way up.
Fulham Focus podcast is going to be a mixed listen tonight. Generally a good podcast - but think it'll be pretty gloomy.

Meanwhile the thorny issues of penalties continues. The smaller clubs complain that the bigger clubs get soft pens and they get no pens and if you've seen Maguire on Welbeck which should have been a penalty/red card then you begin to think they have a point. Suspect if that was Dunk on Rashford, Mike Dean would have pointed straight to the spot.
ManUre still getting fanboy Dean as a ref? That usually results in a penalty and a win.

I think everyone wants that final game to be a winner takes all shootout. Throw in a Big Sam West Brom revival into the mix and it could be an epic last day.
That game against Wolves on Saturday morning (NZ time) is shaping up as a must win along with at least one of Burnley/Southampton in May. Otherwise there's a good chance 2 promoted clubs will go straight down to be replaced with 2 that were relegated last season - which is pretty dull!

You have a much better draw than they do over the next couple of months however I do suspect it comes down to Newcastle playing Sheff United and yourselves in the last two weeks.

@kiwipie Don't know where that comeback came from haha we've been awful without Grealish and looked like we were heading for another loss until our bench (Trezeguet and Davis) came on and changed the game.
Still think Newcastle will go down before you guys do.

Poor Fulham. Was a pretty dull game to be honest. Wolves had a goal ruled out for a ridiculously tight offside, Fulham huffed and puffed late in the game but never really looked like scoring and then with a minute left, Adama Traore was played through and blasted it into the top of the net from a tight angle. 6 games left and Fulham probably need 2 wins from 5 to give themselves a chance of survival by winning the Newcastle game.

i am telling everyone about this, a 5-1 win when in the relegation zone (not any more) priceless
also, a bit of a side note for us kiwis, Nik Tzanev the All Whites keeper is getting a good run of games for us and earning a lot of praise, he's got a bit of work before he can take the "Kiwi womble" name off Smeltz but he's getting there
-
@kiwiwomble And today a 3-0 win against Ipswich - still not safe but moving in the right direction.
Where is @dogmeat this week to raise some faint hope for Fulham? Looks like West Brom are about to go flying past them.
-
Blades down, Canaries up. West Ham doing Fulham no favours..

All hell breaking out in European Soccer as plans for a break-away owners-run European Super League emerge.

A massive betrayal of the fans and centuries of traditional by American and Russian capital IMHO.

I'm sure there's more to come out about this but without German and French clubs it isn't going to be a Super League. Clubs sloshing around in EPL TV cash want a higher percentage of that cash.

i think if this looks like being a real thing then the chances of PSG and Bayern not being involved is miniscule. Who would the 3rd be? Ajax?
