Brumbies v Chiefs

Great win Chiefs. Gotta admire the way they play the game.

The guy has played 35 tests or something and was a constant at 10 for near on 2 seasons including the unbeaten season, it is not like he is a newbie.

He is the best attacking 10 in NZ, the only concern would be goal kicking. Whilst it's not mandatory that the 1st 5 goal kicks, there isn't another starting back or potential starting back that goal kicks at a high level. -

Why is goal kicking your concern? He didn't miss a single kick all game. -

He's not kicking because of his injury. June is 2 months away.
-

I was hoping for a win but man, a bonus point thrashing is fucking insane. Defence is still a bit shoddy sometimes, which has been the worry ever since Messam left, but shit, the backline is relentless. Cruden, Ngatai, Lowe and McKenzie are stars, while Weber, ALB and T Pulu are pretty fucking good too. Awesome shit.

Onward and upwards, really hoping we can get BBBR, Bird and TKB all back on the field next week.
-

One thing is sure after this round. While it's pretty close in the NZ conference and any team can take it (except maybe the Blues), the NZ conference is miles above the rest. Dont' think anyone needs to worry about the All Blacks either. Plenty of good replacements for the players that have left/retired.

Chiefs looking Blues-2002 type dominant. But less Carlos and more all over the park.

And great for me cause they were easy money on my multi. I'll be 5 out of 6 weeks success if the Sunwolves, Bulls & Waratahs pull through.

Though I'm now thinking I should've maybe gone Kings & Rebels. -

I'm aware of that, but it's still a concern whether he can return to goal kicking with little prep/experience or form going into the test season. It's fine now because the Chiefs have DMac who is a very capable kicker. -
Wow, fucking top notch chiefs. Favourite stuff from this game was watching the chiefs adjust to the ref's breakdown interpretations - no need to roll away and you can lean all over players to disrupt or steal the ball. Oh and that rolling maul just cos was bloody lovely too.

Thought Seu looked excellent, hope he keeps that form up. -

Let's hope it's 2002 all over again..... :)

I think 2003 Bbarcs, Blues were awesome that season.
