@Tim as soon as he made the break the fullback decided he wasn't tackling him.

Some of the early tacklers did some good revolving door impressions too.

That's pretty common with Semi, but the fullback took the cake by running to the opposite side of the field even before Semi had got past halfway.

The latest reports out of Ireland suggest that top-tier rugby may not be off the table for Argentina's unfortunate Jaguares.

Rudi Wulf back with Toulon (on loan from Lyon and replacying Bryce Heem) until the end of the season, when he will retire from rugby.

No that's from January, and those were a trio of warm up games Saracens paid for. This the first week of the Championship.

What an excellent result, the long term benefactor of the Pirates has a good rant at RFU, too. This was from just before the match

With funding slashed for second-tier clubs and the prospect of a ringfenced Premership the Cornish Pirates’ owner, Dicky Evans, has sound words for governing body

Saracens better hope that ring fencing of the Second Division applies as they are currently in danger of relegation thanks to the eleventh placed position out of twelve after their 25 - 17 loss to the Cornish Pirates!!

    Oh FFS.

Nothing against the Jaguares, great team, but the Pro 14 looks hell bent on re-enacting the mistakes made by Super Rugby. Limitless expansion, more and more countries involved, fewer local derbies, rising supporter apathy, you know the rest.

@gibbonrib I wonder why they don't join the MLR? Closer to their time zone. Or is the level of the MLR too low?

@stargazer Yeah, MLR would be significantly below the level of Pro 14. Would love to see a strong pan-American competition, but it'll take a while to develop.

Has this been done yet? Cardiff to drop the regional "Blues" branding and revert to traditional colours. This feels like a very big deal, in the smallish context of Welsh club rugby.
