Crusaders Injury Update - Tom Sanders
Published: 10 February 2021 Tom Sanders sustained two small fractures to his cheek/eye region following a head clash in the Crusaders internal fixture last Friday (5th February 2021.) He has been reviewed by a specialist and does not require surgery. His return to play will be in 8-10 weeks time. -

Real shame for Oli. I thought he was really starting to hit his straps and play with a bit more consistency. He’s still young and has plenty of time ahead of him.

@ACT-Crusader He's a pretty good scrummager. And I've heard/read that Jason Ryan rates him highly and that says something.

Yeah me too Havili I thought was good last year when given a chance for me Grace at 8 and Blackader at 6 rotate Christie and Havili at 7 depending on the opposition.

The Crusaders have lost their Strength & Conditioning Coach, Simon Thomas. I understand from one of the comments on his instagram posts that he's going to Austin, so I'm assuming that's the Austin Gilgronis in the MLR. I wouldn't know, but looking at some of the other comments, he's highly regarded by the players.

Despite Blackadder looking dazed and struggling to get to his feet, he left the paddock and passed his head injury assessment, Hansen confirmed.
