It will be good to hear your standouts for each team @mikey07 when you get a chance.
Chiefs standouts for me were Wainui, Karpik and Stevenson. Both tight fives did well on defence.
Blues to shine? Plummer.
I thought that Karl T looked fit and slimmer. Work rate for him was good but he was brushed aside in a tackle and part of a pack that was getting eaten up by no name Chiefs. -
Blues: i was really impressed with Sullivan and Plummer
The Chiefs I thought Jacobsen and Finau
Canes: Goosen with his work rate and Stewart impressed in general play.
Nu’a played well at 12 when he was on and Visinia was very hungry
Bear in mind was behind the goalposts all game and the last game I had a stupid red badge idiot part blocking the view

Love with a break 40 out too much gas for Lowe try Canes, converts his own try Canes 14-5 20 mins gone
Looking at the clip posted in this thread, it wasn't Lowe. Looked like he beat Wainui and Wrampling(?). Missed tackle definitely from Tiatia.
Jersey colours seem fine to me, but why were the Canes wearing those awful jerseys from last year?
Good to see that Fomai got his hands on the ball. -

They have so many of the names wrong haha. They obviously don't know who Marc Telea is, and don't know the difference between Julian Savea and Lolagi Visinia.
Looks more like Bailyn Sullivan?

Sure that wasn't James Lay?
That will explain it.

To be fair I was in the line getting a beverage when he broke the line and scored and all I saw in terms on defenders was Lowe’s headband but yeah my bad.

This is always the best news in these games.
Fortunately for each team, they managed to avoid serious injuries to key players. However, Hurricanes prop Fraser Armstrong came off as a precaution early in the first match against the Chiefs after taking a knock to the head.
